ALEXANDER VALLEY FILM SOCIETY CELEBRATES OSCARS NIGHT WITH 3rd ANNUAL RED CARPET EVENING FUNDRAISING GALA

The Alexander Valley Film Society is bringing Hollywood glamour to Sonoma County with the Third Annual Red Carpet Evening, a fundraising gala and celebration of the 89TH ACADEMY AWARDS®. Guests will gather at The Clover Theater for an evening of film, fashion, food and fun, featuring a red carpet entrance, opulent cocktail lounge, the OSCARS® on the big screen, passed hors d-oeuvres in the theater, and silent auction.

Following the telecast, a seated dinner crafted by celebrity chef Domenica Catelli and live auction hosted by Rick Gomez (Band of Brothers, Justified) will be held at Cloverdale’s historic Bank Building, transformed into an enchanted wonderland for the evening. Proceeds from the event will support the Alexander Valley Film Society’s educational and cultural programs.

WHAT: OSCARS® Fundraiser for the Alexander Valley Film Society. Individual tickets are $200 and can be purchased at www.avfilmsociety.org.

WHO: Bay Area film fans, patrons and supporters of the Alexander Valley Film Society will be feted by Catelli’s, Young and Yonder Spirits, Ferrari Carrano, Bear Republic Brewery, Wilson Winery, and other local artisans. Red Carpet models and fashion provided by Voss Signature Vintage. The event design was helmed by Marne Dupere of 14feet.

WHEN: Sunday, February 26th at 4PM. Oscars® begin at 5:30PM. Dinner immediately follows.
